Powder the coconut in a mixer grinder, and keep aside.
Grind garlic,shallots, 1 tsp cumins without water. Keep aside
Make a dough, by mixing the boiling water,salt,balance cumins and sesame seeds.
Add the mix prepared in step 2 to the batter and mix them well and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Again mix it gently and make it like small balls.
Flatten these balls and make the shape of kuzhalappam by wrapping these flattened dough along 1 finger..
And fry it in oil.Kuzhalappam Ready
For sweetness,dip it in sugar paani (this is optional)
Sugar pani- Heat same amount of water and sugar in a vessel, cook until the sugar gets dissloved.
When mixing dough add water as per the rice powder you can add hot water too.
